The Foundation was launched in July 2007 at Foxhills Country Club in Surrey with a free fun sports day for local children. Foxhills was chosen as it was there as an 11 year old that Paul first tried out for a tennis scholarship. Whilst unsuccessful in his first endeavour, they encouraged him to come back and try the following year for one of their golf scholarships, and this time Paul was successful. The Foxhills’ scholarship provided Paul with the opportunity to pursue his sporting dream, something that would not have been possible without the scholarship.

The Paul Casey Foundation was created with the specific aim of encouraging a healthier lifestyle for young people through their experience of participating in sporting activities. As someone fortunate enough to be given the opportunity to pursue his sporting ambitions, Paul understands the benefits of healthy physical recreation and the need to provide this choice to as many young people as possible.

The Paul Casey Foundation is delighted to be working with the Youth Sport Trust (www.youthsporttrust.org) to provide thousands of young people with opportunities to develop skills in a range of sports. We are working together on 2 specific projects during 2013 throughout South West London and Surrey.
